Deliciously Oozing Baked Camembert

Remember last weekend when I told you about the scrumptious sesame sausages? Well I have a confession... The Man and I had a rather indulgent supper.

This happened:

(I'm afraid these are also all iPhone photos due to the same lack of camera battery issue)

Baked Camembert has to be one of my favourite thing of all time and it is SO SIMPLE! Whereas the sausages had 3 ingredients and 3 steps, this only needs 2 ingredients and 2 steps.

Ingredients:

- Whole camembert
- Garlic

Easy peasy step one:

- Slice your camembert top and pop a couple of whole, peeled cloves of garlic inside.

Easy peasy step two:

- Pop the lid on and whack it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 200 degrees

We used a porcelain camembert baker to bake this little bad boy, but if you don't have one, don't fear, you can use the wooden container it comes in, just get rid of the plastic and cloth wrappings

Take it out. Eat. It really is that simple!

We had some ready to bake bread and wine handy and so dipped, scooped and indulged to our hearts content until the whole dish was licked clean (literally - don't judge me).

Dip anything you have straight it and watched the delicious oozingness.

^sweet cheesus that look good, right?

Celery also works well with this (the cold crunch and the creamy, molten cheese... *cue angels singing*) and makes you feel slightly less guilty, because celery is healthy.
So that makes this healthy.
Right?

Perfect as an indulgent snack, or a great sharing starter for a dinner party (or just your average dinner on a Friday night served with sausages and unhealthiness) it really is too simple not to try!

I think you should buy your ingredients NOW (it's even 25% off)!

Let me know if you have this? And what you have it with... I'm always after new weird and whacky combinations or just a damn good classic to recreate!
